"...a unique atmosphere" |
Woodlawn's 61-acre campus offers students a unique, scenic atmosphere which enhances their learning experiences. The southeastern quarter of the campus contains the historic Woodlawn home, as well as the two original classroom buildings (renovated in 2002 from the home's outbuildings). A third classroom building, Klein Hall, was constructed in 2003, and a fourth, Jackson Hall, was completed in 2005. These classrooms are an interesting blend of old and new - offering views of Woodlawn's historic grounds while providing wireless, high-speed access to the internet. A barn built in 1910 still stands on the eastern edge of the campus, while the remainder of the property is forested, with a small stream flowing east toward the Rocky River. This natural setting provides some unique investigative opportunities, such as our joint projects with the Biology department of Davidson College. |
