finding the
right fit

We realize the importance of finding a school that is the right fit for you and your children. It is a decision that will affect the daily lives of your family and your children's future.

Admission to Woodlawn requires evidence of solid academic ability and sound character. Our admission team not only looks for achievement in schoolwork and extracurricular activities but also for maturity, independence, and a concern for the external world. We look for students who have the ability to understand, use, and appreciate the life-enriching insights and perspectives offered by our unique, integrated approach to learning. We also seek to create a gender-balanced, culturally and socioeconomically diverse student population.

Our admission process consists of an informational packet, interview, and screening test. To learn more about this process, and to determine if Woodlawn might be a good fit for your child, check out our Admissions Calendar for a list of Open House dates and admissions deadlines. Woodlawn is accepting applications for grades 2 through 10 for the 2007-08 school year.

Woodlawn School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs and athletic and other school-administered programs.
