Adopt-a-Stream

Woodlawn students have adopted a section of Little Sugar Creek in north Charlotte as part of Charlotte-Mecklenburg's Adopt-a-Stream program. This program is an effort by citizens who want to improve the quality of water in our area. In September, the 5th and 6th graders visited the stream and gave it a good once-over. We will continue to monitor the stream and do periodic clean-ups.
