Service Learning

The 2005-06 school year marks our largest ever participation in the 7th grade Duke University Talent Identification Program (TIP). Duke TIP is a 16-state program that aims to recognize high-achieving 7th grade students. In order to qualify for TIP, students must score in the top 5 percentile on a national standardized test. These candidates are identified and invited to complete either the SAT or ACT college entrance examination. Students can earn further recognition by virtue of an outstanding score on those tests.
