Coach Blackwell's girls and boys teams defended their titles in style on a cold, blustery November afternoon. Both teams dominated their respective races, and there were plenty of fast times to go around. Perhaps the most dramatic performances of the day belonged to Woodlawn 7th grader Paulina C. and 6th grader Annie W., who both finished in the top 4 in the girls event, dropping their best times by a half-minute in the process. The Trailblazer boys were led by Sawyer B., who broke his own school record by 6 seconds and, like Paulina, nearly pulled off an upset victory.

6th graders Will R. and Regan B. ran consistently (as they have all season) and finished 4th and 8th respectively, while 8th grader John S. ran perhaps his best race of the season to finish 7th and round out the Woodlawn scoring. On the girls side, 7th grader Elizabeth D. and 5th grader Sydney B. completed the scoring for Woodlawn by finishing 7th and 8th.
