The fourth and fifth graders traveled to Rural Hill Farm in Huntersville to test their navigation skills at this area's largest maze. This year's maze was built in the shape of a log cabin, and teams were challenged to visit each section of the maze (obtaining a puzzle piece) and then return to the exit as fast as possible. One of our teams made it in 36 minutes, but others took well over an hour as they wandered the seemingly endless trails through 8-foot-high cornstalks.
