On a perfect October afternoon, Woodlawn boys and girls teams traveled to River Bend Park in Conover for the Conference Championship meet. Despite not being familiar with the course (a hilly, wooded trail near the Catawba River), both squads ran solid meets and came away with two 1st place trophies.

7th graders Zack S. and Annie W. again led their respective teams, both placing runner-up in the individual standings. But, as in past years, Woodlawn also showcased the depth of its teams, as 6 girls and 5 boys earned top-10 finishes in the race.
