The 29th annual Foot Locker South Regional Cross Country Championships were held at Charlotte's McAlpine Park on a cold, clear Saturday in late November. Runners from 15 states traveled to Charlotte to compete, and some very fast times resulted. Woodlawn's conference champion middle school teams were well represented, with Zack S. earning All-South honors in the 11-12 year old boys category. Sydney B. and Jack K. narrowly missed earning spots on the All-South team as well. In the intensely competitive varsity division, both Kathleen E. and Sawyer B. ran personal bests in their respective races - Kathleen finished 10th among NC freshman/sophomre girls, and Sawyer nabbed 7th among NC freshman boys. 11-12 Girls Individual Results (3K, 1.86 miles) 1.
