The Knowledge Master Open is a contest in which teams from schools nationwide compete via computers. The contest includes 100-200 multiple-choice curriculum-based questions that test the students on a wide range of subjects. Bonus points are awarded depending on how quickly teams arrive at the correct answer. Our 6th grade team placed first in North Carolina by correctly answering 91% of the questions. Nationally, this team placed fifth in the small-school division (schools under 200 students). 400 schools competed across the nation. Thanks to Mrs. Denham for coordinating this event.
