On the afternoon of April 25, 2003, Woodlawn students and parents were treated to a dramatic presentation entitled, "Airport Adventure." Woodlawn's first ever play was performed by the fifth and sixth graders. "Airport Advernture" served as the culmination to a month long unit on reading and writing mystery stories. After four short weeks of practice, the students brought this mysterious adventure to life with props, costumes, and Academy Award winning acting. The cast of characters included:

In his quest to transfer the plans for the nuclear bomb site to Geneva, Switzerland, Jim Dawson along with his assistant Sandra Bennett, encounter some pretty shady characters who would do anything to mess up their mission. In "Airport Adventure," everyone was a suspect... but there was only one spy!
