| Archived Events |
The 5th and 6th grade students were able to experience a dazzling array of exotic plants from tropical and desert environments, demonstrating the diversity of our planet's flora. They are studying the ecosystems of Woodlawn campus and were able to do a comparison of the different flora. The 7th grade students who are currently studying the human body, were able to make comparisons between plants and animals and were amazed at all the similarities. One student commented that "This was a lot cooler than I had imagined." And after purchasing several Sensitive Mimosa plants (it curls up its leaves when you touch it) we are ready to make over our Woodlawn gardens. |
