The Trailblazers entered the final week of the regular season needing two wins to reach the .500 mark and assure themselves of a second seed in the tournament. They traveled to Hickory, where the team's depth would be tested due to 2 starters being sidelined to sickness and injury. Woodlawn responded with one of their best efforts of the season, highlighted by Eric B.'s game-high 16 points. Eric showed that he could be effective both in the paint and outside the 3-point arc, where he sank 3 of 4. Will M. had another solid game, and Collin B. came off the bench to score two big buckets. Michael L. sealed the win in the fourth quarter with excellent ball-handling and free throw shooting (7 of 9 from the line).
