Woodlawn boys and girls basketball teams posted nail-biting victories over Davidson Day School in early February. Both teams were led by the outstanding interior play of their centers - Grace L. for the girls and Patrick B. for the boys. After staking a one-point lead at half-time, the girls focused on minimizing turnovers and rebounding during the second half, eventually prevailing by a score of 24-21. The boys team worked hard on the defensive end of the floor, earning their 32-28 victory with a solid team effort.
