Woodlawn vs. Hickory Day School

The leaves were beginning to turn on the Woodlawn campus, providing a scenic backdrop for the team's third meet of the season. The perfect weather conditions contributed to two course records and numerous personal records for the Trailblazer runners on this early October afternoon. Woodlawn's Matt S. was determined to run faster in this meet after missing his own course record by 1 second the previous week. He accomplished just that, sprinting to the finish in 12:31 and breaking the boys record by 15 seconds. The next five runners crossing the line all wore Trailblazer green and white, and each of them set a personal record for the hilly two-mile course.
