Woodlawn traveled to Lake Norman Charter School in Huntersville on a warm afternoon in early November. Compared to the preceding week's conditions, this race offered a much more challenging course and terrain. Running in her first race as a Trailblazer, Kathleen E. led the way for our girls, followed very closely by Jenna "negative split" S. On this day, though, the young Woodlawn team was overmatched by the talented LNCS squad, led by a couple of runners who would have placed well in the boys' race.
