| Up to six players can play in a match (boys and girls are interchangeable). Each play 9 holes from the white tees. The top 4 scores count toward a total score for the team. Lowest total team score wins.

For the second year in a row, 8th graders Curt B. and Tyler W. represented Woodlawn at the North Carolina Middle School Golf Championship. Held this year at the Siler City Country Club in late October, the tournament featured two days of competitive stroke play. Tyler carded an opening-round 88 to lead the way, and finished in 56th position for the tournament, while Curt played two solid rounds to take 60th in the state. Both students are looking forward to leading the Woodlawn team into conference play this spring.
