Playing just the third match on their home field, Woodlawn featured a tenacious defense, anchored by goalies Charlie C. and William O., who each turned away several hard Southlake shots. Grace L. had an impressive showing at the stopper position, forcing the majority of the game to be played at Southlake's end of the field. The highlight of the match proved to be the Woodlawn offense, led by an aggressive Logan F. (3 goals, 1 assist) and Ricci P. (1 goal, 1 assist).
