 Our golf team finished with a strong 6-1-1 match record and a 3rd place in the CIM Tournament. Coach O'Connell's squad looked to eighth graders Curt B., Tyler W., and Alec S. for leadership, and also received solid scoring from 5th grader Collin B. Check out this year's match schedule and results.
Basketball
 Coach Merrell's team ended their regular season with a 7-7 overall record (6-2 in the CIM Conference "A" League), and they earned the runner-up spot in the CIM Tournament. All-conference standouts Eric B. and Michael L., along with fellow eighth graders Will M., Tyler W., and Curt B., demonstrated a tremendous amount of improvement from last year's 2-12 season, and provided effective leadership for the team this year. Cross Country
 Woodlawn 's boys team successfully defended its conference championship title on Nov. 8, capping off another undefeated season. Led by Matt S., who captured his second individual conference title, the boys edged Lake Norman Charter by 5 points in the final meet. The girls team also posted an impressive record this year, finishing third in the conference meet. Coach Blackwell's squads showed tremendous improvement over the course of the season, and will be a force to contend with again next year as a large number of runners will be returning. Soccer Our inaugural season of interscholastic soccer was a big success, with our team finishing runner-up in the "A" League tournament at the end of the season. We were fortunate to have Jeff Duback, a parent volunteer, as our coach this year (Jeff played goalkeeper for the USA National Team and was selected as an All-American while at Yale). Our team was led by three all-conference standouts - Matt S., Jenna S., and Will M.See the 2004 match results.
