Golf

Our golf squad features several new faces as they look to build on last year's successful season. Coached by Mr. O'Connell with assistance from Dr. Black, our players will try to master the tough River Run course (where our home matches are played) as well as several other area courses. See this year's schedule and results.
Tennis

Woodlawn's first-ever tennis squad will count on the leadership of 8th grader Kathleen E. and the hard work of several less experienced but enthusiastic players. We are fortunate to be able to use the River Run courts for our home matches. Schedule and results.
Basketball

Entering its third season of league competition, the Trailblazer boys team looked to rebuild after graduating all of last year's starters. This year they were joined by a girls squad for the first time in Woodlawn history. All-conference selections Patrick B. and Grace L. provided inside scoring and defense to lead their respective teams. Check out this year's game schedule and results.
Cheerleading

Led by Coach Schumacher, Woodlawn fielded its first-ever cheeleading squad and drum corps. These spirit-filled students led cheers and performed at basketball games, including a season-ending performance at a Davidson College game. Go Trailblazers!
Cross Country

Coach Blackwell's boys team captured its third straight conference championship in November, while the girls dominated the field to bring home their first ever conference championship. The boys were paced by 7th grader Sawyer B., who finished first in the conference meet, while 8th grader Kathleen E. led the girls with a second-place finish. Check out this year's meet schedule and results.
Soccer

Led by Coach Hipsher, our coed soccer team surprised a few opponents this year and finished runner-up in the "A" League regular season standings. Four Woodlawn players - Collin B., Logan F., Zach L., and William O. - were named to the all-conference team.
