About the Booster Club

The Woodlawn School Booster Club works to provide financial support for our school's growing athletics program and our hardworking student-athletes. Under the management of the school's athletic directors, the Boosters seek to generate funds in creative ways that boost school spirit. The Boosters focus on three specific areas for fundraising: Woodlawn apparel, ticket and concession sales at athletic contests, and Boosters events. New Woodlawn School apparel will be launched and sold at various points throughout the year.  By sporting your Woodlawn gear, you are supporting our student-athletes.

Woodlawn School fields ten varsity teams and nine middle school teams which participate in interscholastic competition. Just one season for one team can cost the school more than $3,000; with nineteen teams, the costs add up quickly. Our teams have been competitive with schools of far greater size and means.  We compete with spirit, sportsmanship, and pride. The Booster Club supplements the existing athletics budget to help our teams continue to thrive. Boosters funds are used for referees, conference dues, coaches' salaries, uniforms, equipment, facility upkeep, and more.
